I have a really nicely quartered board of Ziricote (great figure) that is too narrow for anything but fretboards that I’m thinking of slicing up. I’m wondering if there is any interest out there in sets consisting of a fretboard blank, bridge blank, and bookmatched headplate. The sets would probably go for around $25.
This is NOT a sign-up or a sale, I’m just trying to find out if there would be any interest should I decide to do that in the future. If not, it will remain a board and I’ll use it as I need it myself. Eventually.

If it is 3" wide and at least 14" long you can slice them up into soprano
uke sets...

Yes Don, I would be interested, I have a back and side set already and I could use a set no problems.

Cheers

Yeah, I would buy a couple sets of that if they are nicely figured.

Man, you guys are a tough crowd...
I mean...I don't even know what photots are! Did you mean faux tots?

I'm not sure you guys would like this wood, it's looks like mountains and hills and stuff like that, and it's got all these lines like the webs of a spider all over it.

Don, I've done this w/ Ziricote before, and the look is spectacular.
If I were you, I'd rescind the offer and keep all the wood for your own personal use.

(I'll take two sets myself.)

From someone who has purchased wood from the other Don before, you wouldn't be dissapointed. If you have any extras I'd be interested.

When and "if" I do this, there will be limited amounts...I'll let folks know.
Nothing is set in stone. Seems like there might be some interest.
